Clara E. Ghansah is an interdisciplinary artist, architecture student, documentarian and writer from Ghana whose work explores the relationships between culture, memory, environment, and human experience. Her practice moves across each medium as a way of observing and understanding the world.
Her practice is rooted in curiosity, collecting observations, studying environments, and translating research into visual, spatial, and written forms. Working across multiple mediums, she explores how places carry memory and how design can preserve, question, and transform cultural narratives.
Currently studying Architecture, she is interested in the intersection between built environments, ecological systems, and cultural narratives. With a particular interest in African architecture and histories, Clara's work seeks to document existing knowledge while imagining new possibilities for the future.
